Nightmare- Avenged Sevenfold

Esse é o último e mais novo álbum do Avenged Sevenfold. Só a excitação da novidade de que eles lançariam uma álbum esse ano me fez ter mais interesse ainda pelo disco. Assim que vi disponível para download eu não pensei duas vezes. Já tinha escutado a 'Nightmare' e a 'Buried Alive' antes, de primeira vista eu não gostei muito destas faixas não, eu tive que escutar mais umas 3 vezes para começar a me interessar por elas - assim como todas as outras músicas de Avenged -. Mas falando sobre o álbum mesmo, percebi um mudança extrema no ritmo e batida na bateria - é claro, o baterista mudou -, mas eles não elegeram um músico de olhos fechados, fizeram uma escolha muito precisa ao que eles queriam, e veio ninguém mais que o Mike Portnoy do Dream Theater - que acabou por deixar a banda mais tarde pois estava gostando muito de ficar no Avenged Sevenfold - que na minha opinião é mais talentoso que o próprio 'The Rev', e também acho que os que dizem James ser mais talentoso que Portnoy é puro luto recente, tanto que o único argumento que eles usam é 'Não, The REV canta, Portnoy não'. Grande coisa, se fomos levar em conta as técnicas usadas na bateria pelos dois, vemos que o Portnoy é bem melhor tanto no Dream Theater quanto no Avenged Sevenfold! Só o Mike Portnoy na bateria deixou o novo álbum deles excepcional! Ele ficou legal em vários aspectos, nas músicas pesadas como 'God Hates Us' e 'Natural Born Killer', tanto nas músicas mais leves como 'So Far Away'. Explicitamente, os integrantes expressam o sentimento de saudade pelo membro perdido, em todas as músicas, na melodia, na letra, na capa, em tudo. É um álbum pesado, divertido, mas acima de tudo bonito e triste. Eu gostei muito deste disco, ainda com a qualidade das músicas se torna o primeiro álbum deles a alcançar primeiro no Top 200 Billboard vendendo mais de 163 000 cópias!

Conclusão: Avenged Sevenfold é uma banda muito legal, porém para adolescentes, assim como eu que gostam de um estilo de música mais pesado, rápido ou até engraçado. Mas, por exemplo, meu pai quando mostrei a ele algumas músicas eles não se familiarizou e até hoje reconhece a banda por 'aqueles chatos', quando maioria das pessoas entre 13 e 17 anos idolatram eles. Digo também que eles realmente são uma fase passageira, são altamente enjoativos, principalmente quando você amadurece e procura um estilo musical mais sério.

This is the latest and newest album from Avenged Sevenfold. Just the excitement of novelty that they would launch an album this year made me even more interest by the disc. When I saw it available for download I did not think twice. I had already heard the 'Nightmare' and 'Buried Alive' before, first glance I did not like these songs, I had to listen to them more about 3 times to get me interested - like all other songs by Avenged - . But talking about the album itself, I noticed an extreme change in the rhythm and beat on drums - of course, the drummer has changed - but they did not elect a musician with their eyes closed, they made the choice quite clear in what they wanted, and nobody less than Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater - that left the band later because he was very fond of staying in Avenged Sevenfold - which I think is way more talented than ‘The Rev’ himself and also think that those who says that James is more talented than Portnoy, pure recent bereavement, so that the only argument they use is ‘The REV sings, Portnoy no’. Big deal, if we consider the techniques used in drums by both, we see that Portnoy is better in Dream Theater and in Avenged Sevenfold! Only Mike Portnoy on drums makes their new album exceptional! It is cool in many ways, the heavy songs like 'God Hates Us' and 'Natural Born Killer', as well as in the lighter songs like 'So Far Away'. Explicitly, the members express the feeling of nostalgia for the lost member in every song, the melody, the lyrics, on the cover at all. It is a heavy album, funny, but above all beautiful and sad. I really liked this disc, moreover with the quality of the music becomes their first album to reach the first Billboard Top 200 selling over 163,000 copies!
Conclusion: Avenged Sevenfold is a really cool band, but for teenagers, like me who like a heavier style of music, fast or even funny. But, for example, when I showed them to my father a few songs he did not like them to the point of recognize the band till today as 'those nasty' when most people between 13 and 17 years idolize them. I also say that they really are a passing phase, are highly seasick, especially when you mature and need a more serious musical style.
